Hi gals! For those of you who don't know, I finally graduated from my university in May of this year (on my birthday!! \(≧▽≦)/ ). I am currently employed as a preschool art teacher. I love my students, but I don't think this will be a long term job for me. I'm pretty limited in what I can wear for this job since I work with toddlers. That means no nails (I do paint my nails though!), not too many hair accessories (I still wear a few though), no makeup, and we have a uniform so no cute clothes ぴえん〜. I think an interesting project would be to see how gal I can be at work without getting in trouble hehe. I'm definitely NOT taking my deco phone case there though. It's super cute! I wanted it based on a pie :> It's super cute and perfect for Fall! I got it made by Angie (decofxiry on tiktok, instagram, and etsy!)
I really took being in school for granted ( ; ω ; ) I miss seeing friends (and my gf) every day, I miss having student discounts (although I could still probably get away with using them), I miss not having to pay student loans, and I miss my silly on campus museum job where I could put as many cute keychains on my lanyard as I wanted and put on full make without anyone caring。゚・ (>﹏<) ・゚。 I try to remind myself of how lucky I am though. I have a Bachelor's degree and a minor! How crazy is that? I've also been using my mom's old car for the past few years and don't have to pay for anything but insurance, gas and occasional maintenance. I'm living with roommates but make more than enough to cover my part of the rent and utilities. I also live in a beautiful area where I can go for walks without worrying about my safety! Gotta still count your blessings~
One thing I've learned since I've graduated is that there are often a lot of hidden gems in your town. I've been going to a lot of department stores and flea markets lately (haul coming soon!) and there are sooo many cute accessories! I should have taken more photos, but whenever I'm out with friends, I never think about it ( ̄▽ ̄*)ゞ Plus it's great to support small (and local) businesses!
I'm pretty sad that October is gone. Fall is my favorite season and it feels like I'm always too busy for stuff to enjoy it ぴえん. I'm pretty excited for all of the co*des I can make for winter though!
